Zavial Beach

ZAVIAL BEACH, is located in teh coucil of Vila do Bispo within the protected nature park area of Costa Vicentina. The beach area is very extensive and has a lot of colors, white sand, a clay area in the central zone of the beach, and it’s surrounded by gray rocks. It has a green field circling the entire beach with clear waters frequented by many surfers because of the waves.

Zavial beach “Praia do Zavial” is the next bay along from Praia da Ingrina, just near by at 280m. Just follow the road past Ingrina. It is another sheltered, sandy cove in between the cliffs and is very popular with surfers, beach lovers and naturists. Zavial Beach has an official blue flag certificate for clear water, beach facilities and beach restaurant.

There is a pretty, small wooded area on the left hand side as you approach the beach with what appears to be a dry river bed alongside. A wooden walkway runs alongside the parking area to the beach itself and to a restaurant with plenty of outside seating and fabulous view!

The Zavial Beach has a boarded walkway as far as the restaurant at the back of the beach. It has lifeguard supervision during the ‘beach season’.
